Our resident composer, Zoë Gorman, has taken inspiration from the salon music of the 17th to 19th centuries, particularly the compositions of Chopin and Liszt, to create a piece of music for the 21st century salon.
Join us for this special event in which she debuts her salon piece for piano, violin and bassoon. Before the performance there will be a conversation with the composer about her inspiration and process as well as salon music from the past played by our resident concert pianist Louis Schwizgebel.
