Salon Cultural Excursions- Opera Salon

 

 

In the first of this new salon series, "Salon Cultural Excursions"we will attend the Royal Opera House to see Verdi's tragedy Simon Boccanegra. Before the opera we will meet to discuss the  historical context, philosophical themes, composer's biography, and any other relevant background information. After the opera we will meet for a drink to discuss our impressions of the performance. 

Opera Excursion Schedule

4 pm: Salon pre opera conversation (location upon RSVP)

7:30 pm: Opera (The Royal Opera House)

11 pm: Post opera reflections 

Please book your tickets independently. Tickets are as inexpensive as £8, but don't wait as prices will rise! We recommend booking in the amphitheatre rows L, M, or N for £35, starting with row L while tickets last.  Book here
