In this salon, everyone will bring a book that they are reading and spend the afternoon drinking tea and reading their book in the company of others with interludes of classical music. After hours of reading, favourite passages will be shared, and ideas whose contemplation the books inspired, will be discussed, in a salon conversation.

At the end of the salon, in the holiday spirit, the most beautiful gifts imaginable (the small worlds contained within books) will be exchanged. 

For those interested in attending this salon please bring two books, one to be read during the salon and a favourite second hand book to give away.
